Julia Carr

Julia Carr is the lead on the community organising work package. Julia has worked at ARU for 7 years, initially as a Senior Lecturer in Education and, more recently, as ARU’s Community Organising Lead and Co-chair of the university’s Civic Action Group.

Julia works closely with Citizens UK to embed community organising across a wide range of university activities, helping ARU to listen more effectively to our communities, and to understand the issues that are important to them, so that we can work together to make our communities better for everyone.
